Analie Grace Huettner died of cancer, April 21st, 2010, in the hospice house of The Hospice of the Western Reserve. She was 93 years old. Analie was born Analie Grace Henderson, in Beloit, Wisconsin. Her parents were Louis and Alice Tannehill Henderson and her siblings, both of whom have passed away, were Donald and Evan Henderson. Analie was married in Gary, Indiana on May 14th, 1937 to Donald W. Huettner and they moved to the Cleveland area in 1947. She lived in Willoughby, Beachwood, Shaker Heights and finally at Stone Gardens of Beachwood, Ohio. Earlier in her life, Analie was active in theater and was known as a great dancer. In high school, the football coach asked her to teach one of his promising players how to dance so he would be more graceful on the football field. This player was Tom Harmon, star player in college football, Heisman Trophey winner, sports broadcaster and the patriarch of a family of American actors! In Cleveland, Analie became a successful realtor, associated with the W.I. White Company and then, for many years with Hacket & Arnold Realtors. She attained the status of ?À?Million Dollar Salesperson?À? for several years. She was also a member of the Cleveland Area Board of Realtors. Analie loved to garden, was an avid reader and accomplished home decorator. Analie and Donald were longtime ?À?founding?À? members of The Church of the Gesu in University Heights. For many years she sang in the church choir and more recently helped out with the senior activities. In 2006, Analie was honored by The Cleveland Clinic by being added to their "Cancer Survivor Wall of Fame". Analie honored her mother?À?s memory by being an active supporter of the Salvation Army and enjoyed being a lifelong member of the Republican party. Analie?À?s husband, Donald, passed away in 1987. She is survived by her six children, Donald E. Mary Nook of Ft. Wayne, IN; David A. Sue Bonner of Angel, Fire, NM; Linda H. DeOreo Peter B. of Shaker Hts., OH; Timothy L. Deborah Eklund of Tulsa, OK; Christine H. Williams David R. of Santa Fe, NM and John A. of Shaker Hts., OH. She was the dear grandmother of Lisa H. Rosenlund, Heather H. Harms, Sarah May, Heidi Johnson, Todd Huettner, Elizabeth DeOreo, Stephen DeOreo, Thomas Huettner, Stephanie Huettner, Katherine Williams, Brett Huettner, Jesse Huettner and the late Holly H. Keys and the great grandmother of Ciara Dolan, Olivia Rosenlund, Megan Harms, Jack Huettner, William Huettner, Edward Huettner, Parker May and Lula Johnson. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 26th at 10 AM in The Church of The Gesu, 2470 Miramar Dr., University Heights, OH, 44118, with interment immediately following in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.
