ANN F. CHAPMAN, age 49, of Willoughby Hills, Ohio. Beloved wife of George Westerman. Dear daughter of Anita Chapman of Shaker Heights, Ohio and the late James Chapman. Dear sister of Tom Chapman of Westerville, Ohio and David Chapman Erica of Twinsburg, Ohio. Survived by nieces and a nephew. Raised in Shaker Heights, lived in Oakwood and Cleveland Heights. Settled with her husband, George, in Willoughby Hills. Shaker Heights public schools, John Carroll University: B.S. English Lit., Psychology 1986, Cleveland State University: M.S. Psychology 1989. Worked as school psychologist in East Cleveland Caledonia, Prospect schools. Worked until the winter break. Head teller at Ohio Savings prior to Cleveland State. Always interested in music, trumpet player and sang in school choirs at Shaker. Sang with Orpheus. Charter member and librarian for Western Reserve Chorale. Attended and supported the ballet, opera, symphony. Also supported and was a member of the playhouse, museum of natural history, art museum and zoo. Ann loved to travel. As a child she took transatlantic crossing on the QE2, Germany, Great Britain, summer trips to Cape Cod. As an adult: preferred New York opera, museums, Washington, Savannah, Key West, Paris. Other interests were animals: her backyard birds Cooper's hawk in the birdbath, pileated woodpeckers, etc. horseback riding as child. Cooking: homemade salsa, scratch baked mother's birthday cake every year. Gardening: grew own vegetables/herbs, gorgeous perennial gardens. Avid sports fan: Indians, Browns in any weather, Buckeye football never missed a home Michigan. Charitable contributions reflected interests. Audobon Society, Nature Conservance, NPR 90.3, Cleveland Hunger Network.
