Anne Relyea

ANNE M. RELYEA was the beloved girlfriend of Robert Venables of Shaker Hts., OH and the dear sister of John F. Relyea of Chagrin Falls, OH. Anne was the dear daughter of the late James J. and Nancy Stevens Relyea and dear aunt of Kyle, Andrew, Sarah and Emily Relyea.

Anne graduated from Cleveland Heights High School and Cuyahoga Community College and enjoyed her work with supportive co-workers for over 20 years at Shapiro, Shapiro & Shapiro Co. L.P.A..

Anne's interest in music started at a young age sitting at her father's side as he played the piano and they sang together. Active in the Cleveland Heights High School Choir and then singing for years with the First Unitarian Church choir, Anne always found a place in her life for music.


In addition to her family Anne was fortunate to have spent almost 20 years sharing her life with "Her Rob". Rob was always at her side through life's ups and downs and together they created a life that Anne treasured. A life-long cat owner, Anne recently resisted the label "cat-lady" as her collection of her precious cats expanded and she cared for her cats dearly. In addition to Rob and her cats Anne was a doting Aunt to her nieces and nephews, remembering all the important dates and events in their lives and sharing in the joy of their lives.

Anne will be deeply missed by her big brother John. As brother and sister they occasionally did not agree but John was always there to support and encourage Anne to live her life to the fullest.
