Betty Beveridge Cronin of Naples, Florida passed away on Thursday, the 12th of August, 2010, after a short illness. Betty was born on November 9th, 1922, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Twyla Nelson Beveridge and Charles Waldo Beveridge of Cleveland. She attended Fenn College and was married to her beloved husband for nearly 60 years. Betty was an accomplished pianist and artist. She deeply loved music and delighted in attending musical programs and concerts in Naples, Florida. Her husband, family and dog, Buddy, were her greatest loves. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Daniel Hester Cronin; her daughter, Carol Cronin Barbour and husband Larry; her son Daniel Charles Cronin and wife Julia and her grandchildren Barrell Christine Barbour, Mary Hester Barbour, Charles Beveridge Barbour, Laura Cronin Marra and husband Nicholas, Kelly Lynn Cronin, James Scott Cronin and Thomas Van Husen Vail, III, and Robert Powers Vail. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21st at 11.00 am in the Chapel of Fairmount Presbyterian Church, 2757 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Private family internment at Crown Hill Cemetery will take place immediately following the church service. Friends of the family are invited to a reception at Shaker Heights Country Club at 1pm.
