CARL R. LEZIUS "BUD" Dear brother of G. Richard Lezius of Shaker Hts., OH . Bud is also survived by four cousins. Bud, a resident of Bratenahl, OH, was born September 6, 1928 and passed away February 11th, 2010. Mr. Lezius was President of The Lezius-Hiles Company, one of Cleveland's oldest and most successful printing firms, founded in 1883 by the Lezius family. The firm was owned and operated by brothers Dick and Bud Lezius until they sold the company in 1978. Bud was a graduate of University School in 1946 and was a Tower Society Member. He graduated from The University of Kentucky in 1950, with a Bachelor of Science degree and was a member of the U.K. Fellows. Bud was a 1st Lt. in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, stationed at Itazuke Air Force Base in Japan. He was a life member of The Business Professional Advertising Assoc., a life trustee of The Cleveland Zoological Society, a long time member of the Blue Coats, The Union Club and The Country Club. Until recently, he was President of Lez-Hi Investment Company, a personal holding company. Bud, also, enjoyed playing tennis and golf. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 18th at 11 AM in Christ Episcopal Church, 3445 Warrensville Center Road, Shaker Hts., OH 44122. Interment Lake View Cemetery.
