Constance was the lone sister among the seven siblings of the late Harry and Constance Hope Axelrod formally of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Her many talents were immediately recognized in her youth directing her artistic educational pursuits in piano, violin, drums, ballet and modern dance. She was the consummate talent. Inspired by her namesake mother, Connie lived for music and dancing with show stopping flair. During her formative years at Beaumont School Constance soon developed a passion for fashion design, sewing and cosmetology. Her dynamic pursuits fueled her studies of fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City to further develop her skills and market her designs to a thriving and demanding retail industry. Constance spent decades in NYC immersed in fashion and celebrity circles. Her natural beauty enabled her to model a wide range of styles and innovative designs including her own. Always being good hearted and caring, she was often known to create and sew designs to facilitate the dreams of others for their special occasions. She embraced NYC and her many local friendships and fond memories. Constance eventually returned to her native Cleveland to continue her custom sewing enterprise while caring for her mother.
