DAMON MICHAEL HALEY was born August 27, 1994 in Cleveland, Ohio, the beloved son of DeShawn Haley and Barbara Nolan. He graduated from Shaker Heights High School where he was a member of the Shaker Raiders (#18) football team and played Rugby. He was currently enrolled at Notre Dame College where he was studying education with the goal of becoming a math teacher and enjoyed spending time with his creative writing and philosophy club members.
Damon is survived by his parents DeShawn and Barbara of Shaker Heights, his sisters DeShawna , DeQuanna and his brother, Desmond. He is survived by his godfather, Kimmet (Jessica) Hudson and his paternal and maternal grandmothers, Joyce Smith and Elizabeth Nolan. He is the precious nephew of Darryl, Delvon (Tracy), Darnell, Dionne and Donte Blanton, Dana (Mark) Powell, Leanna and Keith (Tonya) Haley and William Harris (Nikolia Schnupp), Waide Harris, Anne Marie Warren (William), Robert Nolan Jr. and Daniel Nolan (Melissa); Adored uncle of London and Dakota and cherished cousin of Dominique, Shanita, Ebony, Delvona, Delvon, Deante, Darnel, Darrel, Quiarra, Dionna, Cortez, Donte, Markita, Mariah, Dominique, Nautica and Keith Jr. of the Blanton family. As well as, William, Benjamin, and Madeline Harris, Benaiah Kissel and Makszi Schnupp, Katherine and Nathan Warren and Kylie and Brady Nolan.
He raised and trained JP, as a guide dog; ultimately becoming his forever family. Damon is 'Son', 'Brother' and friend to many who grieve his loss.
Damon's soul untethered from our lives far too soon; he is bound in our hearts forever. Visitation with family will be at Brown Forward Funeral Home on Saturday, October 24th from 2-4 P.m. and 6-8 pm.
