Denise Sindelar

Anna Denise Stewart Sindelar was born in Palo Alto, California on July 19, 1967 to Pamela Gorske DeLong of Oberlin, Ohio and R. Denison Stewart, MD of Sterling, Illinois. Over the next ten years, she was joined by siblings Matthew Ian, Donald Walter, Sarah Lynn, and Meredith Marie, and the family eventually settled in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. In addition, she was raised and supported by her stepparents: Keith and Judy. Denise graduated from Laurel School in 1985 where she was active in the arts and theater. Following Laurel she attended the University of Cincinnati to study Art and Architecture, and returned to Cleveland to complete a communications degree at Cleveland State University. As Denise grew into her professional career as an interior designer, she was devoted to her clients with enthusiasm, energy, and unwavering loyalty. Her passion and creativity were trusted and admired. Her clients were as committed to her as she was to them. Clients became confidants and strangers became friends. Denise's devotion to her family and friends knew no limits. Denise was married to John Francis Sindelar on October 5, 1991, and she was a loving and adoring mother to daughter, Lillian, 14, sons Thayer, 11, and Nolan, 7. Denise's children were the greatest joys in her life and she lived each day in honor of them. Denise was a giving, creative spirit. She strived to make everything better for everyone she knew. She was a born nurturer whose family and friends meant everything to her. Denise was always there, handling it all, with love, humor and comfort. Please remember this Denise in your thoughts and prayers. She will be deeply missed.
