Ellen K. DeMarco

Ellen K. DeMarco passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on March 3, 2024 with her family by her side as she took her last breath.  She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Dr. J. Edward DeMarco, daughters Elizabeth Novak (Joseph) and Karen Converse (Chandler Jr) and son Darrel E. DeMarco; grandchildren Chandler III (Samantha) and Edward “Mac” (Morgan) Converse and Julianne Hunt (Jack) and Jennifer DeMarco MD; and great grandchildren Chandler IV, Giovanni and Oswald Converse and Jackson, Jerry and Jeffery Hunt. She is also survived by brother Orin Koeser (Barbara).  She was predeceased in death by her parents and brother Kevin David Koeser.

Ellen was born June 20, 1936 in Shaker Heights, OH to Edith and Orin Koeser.  She enjoyed numerous volunteer services to various organizations and playing bridge and golf.  Ellen is a member of The Everglades Club, Palm Beach, FL where she served as chair of the ladies golf committee for many years.  She was a member of the Rolling Rock Club, Ligonier, PA and The Kirtland Country Club, Willoughby, OH.  

A Memorial Reception in honor of Ellen will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 4pm to 6pm at The Kirtland Country Club, 39438 Kirtland Road, Willoughby, Ohio 44094.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (https://givenow.lls.org/) or to a charity/hospice program of your choice.
