Ernest Hanson

Ernest Roger Hanson, age 90 of Shaker Hts., OH.  Ernest was an Air Force Veteran (Staff Sergeant), member of the Air Force Band of the West, as a clarinetist first, and vocalist as well as a pianist.  He was a church and synagogue musician in Cleveland.  Longtime choir member of Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland for 50 years.  Lifetime member of YMCA and swimmer.

Beloved husband of Susannah R. Hanson (nee Rusk); dear brother of the late Marjorie Kiecolt of Texas; dear uncle of Sarah Pennybaker (David); brother-in-law of James R. Rusk (Nancy).

The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to the Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113 or to the Music Fund and/or Hunger Program of Trinity Cathedral Church, 2230 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115, where a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 10th at 2 PM.
