Florence Ritch Randle was born and raised in Warren, Ohio. She received a degree in education from Kent State University and a master's degree in library science from the former Western Reserve University in Cleveland. She taught school in Warren before working for the American Red Cross on military installations in the Eastern United States. This was followed by teaching in Venezuela for United States Steel and Oil Companies. She ended her working career in Shaker Heights where she was a librarian and an elementary school teacher. She received the Martha Jennings Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Her interests were reading, needlework, golf, bowling and curling. She was a member of the Shaker Heights Country Club and of the Soup Sisters, an organization that raises money for the Salvation Army.
Her husband, William R. Randle, is deceased. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to Catholic Charities of Cleveland or the Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary Parish, 232 Seneca St., NE, Warren, OH 44481 on Monday, June 2nd at 10 AM.
