Helen (Peggy) Margaret Kundtz

Chagrin Falls, Ohio - Helen Margaret Kundtz née Luckiesh (affectionately known as Peggy), aged 90, passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2023, in her home in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She was born on November 29th, 1932, in Shaker Heights, Ohio, to the late Matthew Luckiesh and the late Helen Luckiesh née Pitts. She was a beloved spouse, mother, and grandmother and an active member of the community. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving spouse, J. Andrew Kundtz (Andy), to whom she was married for 65 and half years. Andy was her pillar of strength and constant companion throughout their journey.

Peggy was a dedicated and caring parent. She is survived by four children and their spouses, who were the pride and joy of her life: Thomas Luckiesh Tobin (Tracy Davis), Margaret Louise Kundtz (Richard A. Joseph), Helen Kundtz Rosselli (Richard A. Rosselli), and John Matthew Kundtz (S. Manning Kundtz). Their unconditional love and support were a source of comfort to Peggy in every phase of her life.

In addition to her children, Peggy will be remembered fondly by her six grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter into her life: Courtney Whitman Kundtz (Richard Reuter), Riley Elizabeth O’Neill Kundtz (Andrew Colbert), Nicholas Rosselli, Katelyn Rosselli, Pepper Joseph, and Theodor Joseph—their precious moments together created cherished memories that will forever be treasured.

The family extends their deepest appreciation to Lorita Harris for the abundant love, unwavering friendship, compassionate care, and invaluable support she provided to Peggy throughout her challenging journey.

A wake and funeral service will be held to honor the life and legacy of Peggy. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023, from 5 to 7 PM at the Brown-Forward Funeral Home, located at 17022 Chagrin Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44120. The funeral service will follow on Thursday at 10:30 AM at The Church of the Gesu, located at 2470 Miramar Blvd, University Heights, OH 44118. After the service, a solemn burial will occur at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Chagrin Falls. A celebration of life will be scheduled later this summer.

The memories shared, and the presence of friends and loved ones have provided comfort and strength.
