HOMER McDANIEL , born June 21, 1925, peacefully passed away with family by his side, on June 23 in Naples Fla. A 1944 graduate of University School, he enlisted in the Navy and attended Baldwin Wallace and University of Pennsylvania on the V-12 program. He started his machine tool builder career at the Hill Acme Co. in 1946 and retired as Vice President and General Manager in 1986. Homer was a member of Kirtland Country Club, enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and gourmet cooking. He spent years as a mental health advocate. He is survived by Jean, his devoted wife of 60 years, two sons, Abner Maria and James, grandchildren, a great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Memorial service will be held Saturday July 14, 11am at The Church of the Western Reserve, 30500 Fairmount Blvd. Pepper Pike, Oh 44124.
