Irene Franklin

Irene Franklin (nee Baker), aged 98, of Beachwood, OH, passed away peacefully on January14, 2025. Born on February 6, 1926, in Mobile, AL, Irene lived a life filled with love and devotion. She was the beloved wife of the late Curtis Franklin, who played an integral role in her remarkable journey.

Irene was a loving mother to Kevin C. Franklin, who resides in Cleveland, OH with his wife Elisea. She was also the cherished mother of the late Eleanor Franklin and the late Curtis Michael Franklin. Irene's nurturing spirit and unwavering support shaped the lives of her children and left a lasting legacy of love.

A visitation in honor of Irene Franklin will take place on January 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Dominic, located at 19000 Van Aken Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122. Following the visitation, a Funeral Service will be held at the church beginning at 11:00 AM. She will then be laid to rest in a burial service at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield, OH, at 12:00 PM.
