James Charles Cooper, Sr., age 93 of Cleveland, OH. Beloved husband of the late Delores Cooper (nee Kellogg); dear father of Gary, Eugene, and James Cooper, II, and the late Renee Cooper. James is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a niece, a nephew and host of family and friends.
James was a dedicated and loyal Sgt. in the U.S. Army and served in World War II from 1944-46. He was a Sgt. in the European Theater of Operation with the 309th Quartermaster Railhead Company. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary's Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the chapel of St. Mary's Church, 340 Union Street, Bedford, OH 44146 on Saturday, April 12 at 10 AM.
