James A. Greene

James A. Greene was born on August 14, 1930 and died on May 26, 2023.  He was 92 years old.  James was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  After serving in the US Army and graduating from Stillman College, he moved to Cleveland to begin his long-time career in the Cleveland Public School District.  James loved the arts and music.  He leaves two nieces, Vanessa Flagg (Richard) and Evelyn Kerney and nephews.  As a long-time member of the Church of the Covenant, he wished that any gifts be made to its Music Fund.  Memorial Services will be held at the church on July 8, 2023 at 11:00 am.
