James Horsburgh

James N. Horsburgh lost a long battle with heart disease on March 9, 2011, at the age of 66. After earning an MBA in 1968, he joined Harris Seybold Corporation later Harris Corporation for his first job. In 1971 he began a 14 year career with the Horsburgh & Scott Co. where he was controller and later treasurer. In 1993 he became a CPA. He enjoyed vacationing in the summer at the family cottages in the U.P. of Michigan. He was a long term member of Alcoholics Anonymous. James was the loving husband of the late Martha Horsburgh nee Barry. He is survived by his four children: Sarah H. Foley Jim of Chagrin Falls, James D. of Lakewood, Robert F. of Gainsville, FL and Timothy B. Horsburgh of New York, NY. He was the grandfather of Andrew, Kyle and Ellie Foley. He is also survived by his sisters, Joan Ainsworth Dick of Bratenahl, OH, Diane Thompson of Naples, FL and Carolyn Horsburgh of Florida. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 1:30pm in the chapel at Riverside Cemetery, 3607 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH.
