Jean McDaniel

Jean McDaniel nee Droulliard peacefully passed away on January 1st. Beloved wife of the late Homer McDaniel. Loving mother of Abner Maria and James McDaniel. Dear grandmother of Katherine Glass Grayson and Bethany McDaniel. Great grandmother of Adelay Glass. Jean was born September 20, 1927 in Cleveland, OH. She graduated from Hathaway Brown in 1945. She attended Briarcliff College and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Jean married her husband Homer in 1951. Jean was very active in the community. She was a member of the Junior League, Naples Historical Society and volunteered for numerous organizations. Jean was an avid figure skater and especially enjoyed planning fundraisers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to: PLAN Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Northeast Ohio, c/o 3659 S. Green Rd., Ste 325, Beachwood, OH 44122. Services will be private. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT BROWN-FORWARD, 17022 CHAGRIN BLVD. IN SHAKER HTS. ON MONDAY, JANUARY 7 FROM 4 TO 7 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor in the spring.
