Jeremy Callahan

Jeremy Brayton Callahan, August 19, 1935-September 8, 2010 Jeremy was the devoted wife of Kenneth R. Callahan, MD. She was the beloved mother of Clarke Wilson Leslie James T., MD, J. Reading Wilson, Jr. Andrea Bond of Chicago, Illinois and Charles Brayton Wilson Julie Vogt of Dublin, Ohio. She was the adored grandmother of Madeline Graham Wilson, Olivia Brayton and William Clarke Leslie, Carter Bradford and Paige Caroline Wilson. She was the dearest sister of Marsha Brayton Everett and daughter of the late John Clarke and Doris Crandall Brayton of Cleveland, Ohio. She was the stepmother of Kenneth, Christopher, Catherine, Kevin and Collin Callahan. Jeremy was a graduate of Hathaway Brown School, Class of 1953, and Wellesley College, Class of 1957, graduating as a Durant Scholar with distinction in Economics. Following the example of her mother and grandmother, she was an active civic volunteer for more than sixty years, raising funds for University Hospitals of Cleveland, where she was a member of the Board of Trustees for twenty five years, Planned Parenthood of Greater Cleveland, the Alzheimer's Association, and most recently, Indian River Hospital of Vero Beach, Florida. Memorial donations may be made in her name to University Hospitals of Cleveland 11100 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106. Memorial Services are to be held at First Baptist Church, 3630 Fairmount Boulevard, Cleveland Heights, Ohio on Saturday, September 18 at 4 PM.
