Joan Mishler Reifman, born October 11, 1943 to Dr. and Mrs. William Mishler, passed away December 11, 2014. She is survived by her beloved husband, Dr. Seymour Reifman; daughter, Margaret (Meggin) Griffin Crawford; son and daughter-in-law, James (Jeb) and Dana Griffin; and granddaughter, Sopfia Griffin; sisters, Martha Reiss (Tom) and Ann Hutzel (Don); stepchildren, Joel Reifman and Anne Reifman Peterlin; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Joan graduated from Beaumont High School and St. Elizabeth's College, where she majored in French. She was a long-time member of the Tuesday Study Club of Cleveland. Joan was a passionate equestrian being a long time member of the Chagrin Valley Hunt, and a breeder of thoroughbreds at Old Acres Farm in Sagamore Hills, Ohio. Friends and family will remember Joan as having a wonderful laugh and sense of humor. She was truly extraordinary and will be missed for her enthusiasm and zest for life.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Church of the Gesu, 2470 Miramar Boulevard, University Heights, OH 44118 on Wednesday, December 17, at 10 am. Friends may call at Brown-Forward, 17022 Chagrin Boulevard, Shaker Heights, OH 44120 on Tuesday, December 16, from 5-7 pm.
