Beloved father of Robert L. Cassidy (Ana Papakhian) of Shaker Hts., OH, Matthew K. Cassidy (Kim) of Portland, OR, Paul D. Cassidy (Diana) of Yonkers, NY, Elizabeth C. Parker (Scott) of Columbus, GA and Katherine J. McNulty (Chris) of Minneapolis, MN; dear grandfather of Sara, Nazani, Theo, Zella, Patrick, Owen, Alex and Robert; dear brother of Rev. Theodore Cassidy, S.M. of Cleveland, OH and Estelle Peck (Alfred) of Westbury, NY and the late Peter D. Cassidy; devoted former husband of Mary Ann W. Cassidy of Dumont, NJ and former partner to Nelson Colon, MD of San Juan, PR.
The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to Ramapo College of New Jersey, 505 Ramapo Valley Rd., Mahwah, NJ 07430, or to The Marianists, 4425 W Pine Blvd St Louis, MO 63108 or to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047.
A Funeral Mass will be held in the Church of St. Luke in the Fields, 487 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10014 on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 3:00 PM. A reception will immediately follow the service. In addition, there will be a Memorial Service in Cleveland, OH at Judson Manor, 1890 E. 107th St. on Saturday, December 7th at 3PM. Interment, Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
