John P. Thompson

John P. Thompson, age 72 of Shaker Hts., OH passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024. Preceded in death by parents Marcie and Hayden Thompson. Survived by soulmate Kathy Thompson, daughters Ruby and Mimi Thompson, brothers Bill Thompson (Siobhan) and Mike Thompson (Donna), sisters Marnie Thompson (Stephen Johnson) and Patsy Thompson (Ernie Bode), numerous nieces and nephews. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to John's favorite charities: Democracy Now!, Magnolia Clubhouse, Hawken School and Laurel School. A celebration of John's life will be held Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 1-4 PM at The Beachland Ballroom, 15711 Waterloo Rd., Cleveland.  The service will begin at 1:30 PM.
