Julia Dempsey

Julia Bolton Dempsey age 97 died on July 9 at her residence in Hunting Valley. She attended Hathaway Brown School , Milton Academy (Milton, MA) and the French School of New York City. Mrs. Dempsey was a trustee of Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, and the Episcopal Church Home. She was also a long time member of the Garden Club of Cleveland, the Union Club, the Chagrin Valley Hunt Club, the Kirtland Country Club and the Colonial Dames of America.

Mrs. Dempsey is survived by her two daughters, Julia D. Cox of Brookline, MA and Melissa D. Gerrity of Weston, MA, two grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. Her husband, James H. Dempsey predeceased her.

A graveside service will be held at Lake View Cemetery on Friday, July 13 at 11:00 AM.
