June Marvin

June Marvin nee Dunn of Cleveland, Ohio passed away October 7, 2010 at the age of 86. Beloved wife for 64 years of the late Henry H. Marvin and mother of Dean C. Marvin Laura of Torrance, California and Kent H. Marvin Sherry of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. In addition to her sons she is survived by her grandchildren; Kristin Marvin Joseph of New York, Kent Tyler Marvin, Kaitlin Marvin and Collin Marvin all of Cleveland Heights, and many nieces and nephews. Born in Bloomington, Nebraska, Mrs. Marvin graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Business Degree and lived in Schenectady, New York, Glens Falls, New York, Shaker Heights, Ohio, Annandale, Virginia and Glencoe, Illinois before retiring with her husband to Judson Park Retirement Community in Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Marvin enjoyed traveling and visited many countries including, China, Russia, England, Ireland, Italy, Greece, France and Australia. In addition to tennis and golf, Mrs. Marvin enjoyed attending weekly Symphonic Orchestra performances and was active in music appreciation classes and women's committees that supported symphony orchestras. Mrs. Marvin will be interred in Maple Grove Cemetery located in her hometown of Bloomington, Nebraska, where she will rest in eternal peace with her husband and many relatives. A graveside service will be scheduled. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to Judson Park Foundation, 2181 Ambleside Drive, Cleveland, OH 44106.
