KAREL KAY SLITZ (nee Phillips), age 49, beloved wife of Aaron Slitz, dear mother of Alex, Adam, and Amelia Slitz. Beloved daughter of Dorothy Kay Phillips and Wendell "Bil" Phillips, dear sister of Karen Ireland-Phillips, Kelly Small, Korbi Roberts, Kathi Johnson, Vicki Smithingale and Darren Nelson. Karel is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a caring, loving, and giving person who was also funny and adventuresome. She made a difference in people's lives. Karel will be dearly missed. The family prefers that those who wish may make a contribution in her name to Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44113.
Interment will be at Church of the Saviour Columbarium. Memorial Services will be held at Church of the Saviour, 2537 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio, on Wednesday, October 29, at 11 a.m.
