Kathleen "Kitty" Taze Jeavons passed away on June 26, 2013. She was 76 years old. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1936. Kitty was a graduate of Laurel School in Shaker Hts., Class of 1954 and a graduate of Wellesley College in 1958. Kitty was devoted to her family and volunteered on many committees and boards. She volunteered for Cleveland Society of the Blind for over 20 years, was a member of the Junior League, Colony Garden Club and the Intown Club. She was Chairwoman of the White Elephant sale and Co-chairwoman of the Assembly Ball. She was a member of the Women's Council of the Cleveland Museum of Art and was chairwoman when Evan Turner was head of the Museum. She was the only chairwoman in whose name the museum made an acquisition. Kitty was an avid tennis player and gardener, a consummate homemaker and lifelong Anglophile. Beloved wife of Norman S. Jeavons of Pepper Pike, OH. Dear mother of Kathleen S. Jeavons of Washington, DC, Lindsey Jeavons of Shaker Hts., OH and the late Elizabeth M. Jeavons. Memorial Services will be held in Tucker Hall of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2747 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Hts., OH 44106 on Saturday, July 6th at 1 PM.
