Linda Habiby

LINDA C. HABIBY nee Cattan, died January 29th, 2009 in her Beachwood, Ohio residence with her loving family surrounding her. She was born in Jerusalem, Palestine and moved to Lebanon in 1956. She was a teacher there for many years. She and her husband, Halim, moved to the United States in 1985. They made this move to be with their children in Atlanta, Georgia and then eventually in Beachwood, Ohio. She spent as much time as she could cooking and playing for her children and beloved grandchildren. How she loved all those children! She was the dear mother of Amal Vitali Edward of Beirut, Lebanon; Mazen Habiby Lillian of Malibu, CA; Najwa Faraj Hikmat of Atlanta, GA; Wael Habiby Linda of The UAE, and Randa Karim Fadi of Shaker Hts., OH. She was a loving grandmother to Carl, Marc, Halim, Rasha, Shereen, Maysoun, Vanessa, Samar, Ramzi, Brian, William, Rania, Samer, and Michael and dear great- grandmother of Liam , Josephine, Nadia and Theo. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to The Church of the Western Reserve or to Global Ministries memo note to Jerusalem Crippled Children c/o The Church of the Western Reserve, 30500 Fairmount Blvd., Pepper Pike, OH, 44124, where Memorial Services will be held Sunday, February 1st at 4:30 PM.
