Lorrie Robertson

E. LORRIE ROBERTSON nee Nigols The beloved wife of the late Raymond H. Robertson, died May 21st at the Judson Retirement Community. Lorrie was the dear mother of Diane R. Brown of Newtown Sq., PA and the dear grandmother of Christopher, Lorrie and Jennifer. Lorrie was a member of the Board of Directors for the Bruening Foundation from 1988 to 2003. She was also active in the Childrens Guild and a long time volunteer at the Cleveland Health Museum. Her love and committment for children was further displayed by her years of volunteering at the St. Luke's Hospital Childrens Unit as the "story lady", reading books to the children during their stay. Lorrie was a former member of the Hiram College Womens Council, the Judson Retirement Community Board of Directors and the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, where for many years she chaired one of several different departments during the annual "White Elephant Sale." Those who wish may make contributions in her name to the Raymond H. Robertson Memorial Fund of Judson Retirement Community, 2181 Ambleside Dr., Cleveland, OH, 44106 or the Melmark Home, Inc., "A special residential facility for the mentally handicapped," where Mrs. Robertson's grandson attends, 2600 Wayland Rd., Berwyn, PA, 19312. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, May 27th at 4 PM in the Herr Memorial Chapel of Plymouth Church UCC, 2860 Coventry Rd., Shaker Hts., OH 44120. Interment Acacia Memorial Park.
