Louise (nee Harper) Wills, born September 2, 1952, in Duluth, Minnesota. She graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1970 and the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1975. In 1976.
Louise began her career teaching home economics in Duluth, Minnesota. Louise got sober on June 2, 1979. In the summer of 1980 she moved to Cleveland, Ohio. When she first moved to Cleveland she lived with friends in Shaker Heights for 9 months after which she lived in Euclid (Americana Apartments) for a year and a half. During this time, Louise worked at the board of mental retardation.
In the mid-1980s, Louise went back to school and obtained a masters in social work. Louise became a licensed social worker and worked at Lakewood Hospital for 26 years. On July 31, 1998, Louise married Kenneth (Ken) Wills in an intimate backyard ceremony. Through the years, they adopted many pets together, who were all well-loved.
In 1996, Louise and Ken bought their first house together on E. Scarborough in Cleveland Heights. In 2019, they bought their retirement home in Richmond Heights.
Louise is survived by her husband Ken, her brother Bill (Trudy) Harper, sister Elizabeth (Jeff) Harper, and her nieces and nephews and grandniece. Louise was predeceased by her mother and Father - Mr. and Mrs. James Harper and her sister Susan Harper.
There will be a gathering of friends and family at Brown-Forward Funeral Home, 17022 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Heights, OH 44120, on Saturday, February 22nd from 2-4 PM.
