Marcia Kehres

Marcia Hollington Kehres, age 72, passed away at her Moreland Hills residence July 2nd, 2013. Marcia was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Richard R. and Annette Kirk Hollington. She graduated from Hathaway Brown School of Shaker Heights, Oh and from Smith College of Northampton., MA in 1963. Marcia has served the Campfire Girls Cleveland Council as a Field Supervisor and also ran the Student Volunteer Program for The Welfare Federation. She was a member of the Junior League and continued her volunteer work with St. Luke's Hospital, Highland View Hospital, and The Children's Guild, Planned Parenthood and her alma mater, Hathaway Brown. Marcia also served her community by being on the Board of Directors of Ohio Bank and Savings and The Lawrence School. She was an avid golfer at The Country Club and was a multiple winner of the annual Hollington Family Tournament! She loved to read and play bridge and loved being with her family at any opportunity. Marcia enjoyed traveling, especially to Sanibel Island in the winter and loved to travel to Memquisit, Canada for fishing and the outdoors in the summer. Marcia's husband, James, passed away in 2002, but she is survived by her children, Marci K. Schwab (Jeff), Lisa K. Mee (Terry), both of Chagrin Falls, OH and James E Kehres (Missy) of Jacksonville, FL. She was the dear grandmother of Jamie, Libby and Kyle Schwab; Creagan, Anna and Tyler Mee; and Melina, John and James Kehres; the dear sister of Richard R. Hollington, Jr. (Sally), Annette H. Guglielmi (Frank) , the late Mary H. Chandler and David Hollington. Marcia was a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews and she was also survived by her loving yellow Labrador Retriever, Sammy.
