MARGARET HUFFMAN (PEGGY) of Lakewood, Ohio; Peggy passed away peacefully on Feb 25, 2018.
She was born Nov 5, 1932 in Lansing, MI.
Peg was a graduate of Michigan State University and the University of Iowa's Social Workers Masters program. She served a long career as a social worker and a determined champion for social justice.
Surviving her are her sisters, Patricia Bakke and Janet Nelson and her nephew, Mark Bakke, and nieces: Jacqueline Barrett, Susan Bakke, Connie Huffman, Samantha Nelson and Suzanne Chamberlain. She was the beloved daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Huffman and sister of the late Jack Huffman and Joanne Huffman. Beloved friend to Michelle Palmer, Sharon Johnson and Cathleen Palanski.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at 1 PM at Brown-Forward,
17022 Chagrin Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH, 44120.
