Margaret Jordan

June 20, 1938 — September 16, 2012

On June 20th 1938, a beautiful baby girl named Margaret was born to Ernest and Addie McMilliner, both parents preceded her in death. Her life was shared with 9 nine other siblings. Geraldine Steen, the following siblings preceded her in death Katherine Bryant, Ernest McMilliner, Jr., Lloyd McMilliner, Michael McMilliner, Edward McMilliner, Jinell Hairston, Helen Sheppard and Janet Bell. Margaret found God at an early age and was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and St. Philomena Catholic Church. Margaret attended Cleveland Public Schools, Woolridge, Kennard Junior High and John Hay High School. She was a devoted employee to numerous nursing facilities during her working career. Willow Park Nursing & Rehab, University Manor, The Center for Clinical Care, Rudrick Manor, Abbey Nursing Home and Midtown Nursing Home. To her co-workers she was affectionately known as Miss Margaret. Our mom was married to Richard W. Jordan, to this union, her 4 four children were born, Patricia Robert, Richard W. Jordan, Jr., Serita Robert and Jannissa. Richard W. Jordan, Sr. and our baby sister Jannissa, preceded her in death. Grandmother to Micheal Sr., Karmen and Kamera, great-grandmother to Micheal Jr., Erin and Justice. Her life was also shared with her nieces, nephews and cousins. Although she was a very private person, she was very outgoing. Some of her favorite pastimes included reading and traveling. She was there to help family, friends and co-workers through tough times with words of wisdom and motherly advice. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 21st at 1:30 PM in The Cleveland Memorial Gardens, 4324 Green Rd., Highland Hills, OH.
