Marilyn O'Neill

Marilyn O'Neill nee Wise was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Harold Wise. She graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1953 and Marymount College, Tarrytown, New York in 1957. She worked for Booz, Allen & Hamilton until her marriage to Patrick J. O'Neill in 1960. He died in 1988. They are survived by their six sons, Patrick, Jr. Becky, Michael Vera, Daniel Betsy, Stephen Heidi, John Mary Jo, and Brian Gena, and 15 Grandchildren: Patrick, III, James, Alice, Hugh, Timothy, Margaret, Mary, Jayme, Matthew, Josephine, Patricia, Brennan, Liam, William and Frances. Marilyn is also survived by her best devoted friend, Fergus. She worked for Sr. Henrietta at Our Lady of Fatima for many years and for The Achievement Center. She was a member of the Carmelite Guild, and on the Board of Trustees of Scarboro Hall, Gilmour Academy, and Ursuline College. She is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, a sister, Patricia McIntosh, two brothers, John T. Wise and Charles J. Wise. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to Ursuline College, 2550 Lander Road, Pepper Pike, OH 44124, Carmel of the Holy Family, 3176 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Hts., OH 44118 or Church of the Gesu, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Hts., OH 44118. A Funeral Mass will be held at Church of the Gesu on Saturday, July 28 at 10 AM.
