Martha Horsburgh

June 25, 1947 — November 2, 2009

MARTHA B. HORSBURGH nee Barry Age 62, of Cleveland Hts., OH, died November 2nd after an eight and one-half year journey with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, Jim, her son, Tim and her beloved dog, Asher. She is also survived by her three stepchildren, Sarah Foley james, Jamie and Rob Horsburgh, and her three step grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers, Bill Barry Joan Jacobson of Baltimore, MD, Tom Barry Pat of NYC, NY and Mike Barry Jody Sheff of Mt. Kisco, NY, five nephews, one niece and her many wonderful friends. Martha worked for many years in the Cleveland area in various financial capacities. She was an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Cleveland Heights, and was for many years the head of the church's Investment Committee and also served on the Vestry. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to The Gathering Place, 23300 Commerce Park, Beachwood, OH 44122; Hathaway Brown, 19600 N Park Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122-1899; The Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center, P87, for the Barb Leslie fund, c/o Rene Barrett-Gordon, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44195; or to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2747 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Hts., OH 44106, where Memorial Services will be held Saturday, November 7th at 1 PM. Interment Riverside Cemetery. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT BROWN-FORWARD FUNERAL HOME, 17022 CHAGRIN BLVD., SHAKER HTS., OHIO, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH FROM 5 TO 7 PM.
