Martha Conway

CONWAY MARTHA "MARTY" MUNN CONWAY, 91, passed away January 25 at home with her loved ones. She was born on December 7, 1923. Marty lived her whole life between Cleveland, and, in summer, Bellaire, Michigan. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who loved her family deeply.

Marty is survived by four children, Kathy Conway Murray, Susan Merriam, Tim Conway, and Cary (Frank) Eustis. She was known as "Damie" by her six grandchildren, Chad (Tracie) Munn, Danny Murray, Kate and Jessie Merriam, and Zack and Hannah Eustis. Also, she is survived by her three Great-Grandchildren John, Derek, and Amy Munn. She was a beloved aunt to 58 nieces and nephews. Marty was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Myrtle (Broer) Munn, her brother William E.Munn,(Betty) and sisters Ruth Avery (Allen), and Phyllis Martien (Leonard), and her beloved dog Dodger.

Marty was a graduate of Hathaway Brown, involved with many activities including The Junior League, Liltin Leaguers singing group, Wiff and Poof Golf group, Garden Club and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid tennis player, golfer, downhill skier, bowler, water skier, and sailor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119, or to Plymouth Church of Shaker Hts., 2860 Coventry Rd, Shaker Hts., OH 44120, where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 11am. Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery.
