Mary Schneider

MARY PATRICIA SCHNEIDER nee Baumgartner of Aurora, OH, passed away at her residence February 27th, 2011. Pat was the beloved wife for 55 years to the late Paul J. Schneider, who died in 2005. She was the dear sister of Jean B. Erickson Wallace of Salinas, CA and Robert L. Baumgartner Connie of Novelty., OH and the dear aunt of several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Pat was a graduate of Cleveland Heights High and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She unselfishly dedicated her married life to supporting Paul throughout his tenure at the United States Steel Corporation and was undoubtedly an integral part of his successful thirty year career. Although Pat had no children, she was a loving, loyal sister and Aunt to her many nieces and nephews who were always treated like her children with love, honesty, and genuine caring. Pat's strength of spirit, her sense of humor and her warm smile and laughter will always be in the minds and hearts of all her family that loved her so much. It is a comfort to know that she has returned to her loving husband Paul's side after five years of separation and together will be with our Lord when next we see them. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to the Aurora Historical Society, 115 E. Pioneer Trail, Aurora, OH 44202 or the Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral Services will be held 1 pm, Tuesday, March 8th AT BROWN-FORWARD FUNERAL HOME, 17022 CHAGRIN BLVD., SHAKER HTS., OH.
