Nancy Womer

NANCY B. WOMER nee Blue The beloved wife of the late attorney George S. Womer, passed away at her residence on May 16th, 2012. Nancy was the dear mother of Ann H. Womer Benjamin David M. of Aurora, OH and Margaret Womer Namie Marc of Cincinnati, OH. She was the dear grandmother of Katherine Womer Benjamin Michael Carroll, Johanna Womer Benjamin, Paul William Namie, Peter Tapscott Namie, Luke Bauer Namie and one great grandchild on the way. A lifetime musician, Mrs. Womer studied music at Oberlin and Ohio State University and taught school in Columbus and Shaker Heights, OH. She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood, Delta Gamma Sorority, Canterbury Golf Club, local music groups and the Euclid Avenue Christian Church now Disciples Christian Church. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to the Cecilian Musical Club Scholarship Fund, 6809 Thornapple Dr., Mayfield Village, OH 44040. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 19th at 11 am in The Disciples Christian Church, 3663 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland Hts., OH 44121. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FOLLOWING THE SERVICE AT A LUNCHEON RECEPTION IN THE CHURCH. Interment Lake View Cemetery.
