Ned Talley

February 24, 1925 — October 11, 2013

On the morning of October 11th, 2013 Ned A. Talley departed this life.
Ned was born February 24th, 1924 in Midville, Ohio to the late William
& Eva Talley.

Ned attended the Cleveland Public Schools System, and graduated from Central High School.
Attending the U. S. Military, Division of the Army, he was discharged with a"Good Conduct & Victory World War II Medals," also receiving an "Honorable Discharge."

Ned & Ethel H. Talley would have celebrated 65 years of martial bliss,
this October 2013.

One child was born from a previous marriage, Darline E. Talley Collins.

Ned had been retired over 25 years from the U. S. Postal Service.

Ned was a lover of dogs; Buster 1 [as a child] & II as his own, Pluto & the infamous Chi Chi, which we all knew!!

Fishing was his favorite sport, with his side-kick & brother-in-law, "Garfield."
He had many hobbies, most revolved around music, listening & playing
instruments, the piano, was his favorite!!

He truly enjoyed his retirement for many years, before illness fell
upon him.

Ned leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Ethel, brother: Willard Talley, of Cleveland, Ohio, daughter: Darline Collins, of Midpk. Ohio, 2 grand-sons:

Brian W. [Tammara] of Cleveland, Ohio & Barry W. [Ursula]  Hickerson of Euclid. Ohio, 1 grand-daughter: Brandi L. Hickerson of Euclid, Ohio, nieces: Pamela Joiner of Cleveland, Ohio: Lavada Wilson of Cleveland Hts Ohio, Penelope Talley of Euclid, Ohio & 2 nephews: Patrick Talley of Columbus, Ohio & Peter Talley of Cleveland, Ohio & 4 Great-grand sons.

With even more family & friends, neighbors, co-workers, too numerous to
mention, we'll  miss "YOU" dearly Ned!!!

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 15 at 10am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 12601 Shaker Blvd, Cleveland, OH. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT BROWN-FORWARD, 17022 CHAGRIN BLVD, SHAKER HTS., OH ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 14 FROM 2-4, 6-8PM. Interment, Knollwood Cemetery
