NORMA H. WALDRON nee Haas, age 91, passed away March 27th at The Gardens of McGregor of East Cleveland, Ohio. Norma was the beloved wife of the late Neal W. Waldron, who passed away in 2003. She was the dear mother of Warren R. Judy of Somerville, OH; David E. of Madison, OH; Douglas W. Donna of Cleveland, OH and Raymond L. Wynne of Front Royal, VA; and the dear grandmother of Lucas, Nicholas, Shennan and Patrick. Norma grew up in East Cleveland and graduated from Shaw High School in 1938. During WW II, she worked as a secretary for the William H. Howe Company and then as an Executive Secretary for General Electric until her husband, Neal, was discharged from the Army in 1947. Norma immediately quit her job at GE and she and Neal loaded up their 1936 Roadster and headed out on a three or four month journey across the United States. After that adventure, they settled back in East Cleveland and started their family. They moved to Cleveland Heights and raised their four sons on Lowell Road. In the 1970's, Norma went back to work, first for the City of Cleveland Heights Administration and then for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Board of Education. She continued in administration work until her retirement in 1985. Throughout all these years she also sold a full line of Avon products, making many friends among her customers. As they started their family, Norman and Neal joined the newly merged Lyndhurst Baptist church and she was very active with the Woman's' Association. Neal's funeral service was among the last before that church closed its doors for good a few years ago. Norman entered The Gardens of McGregor shortly after Neal's death in 2003 and loved the staff and their tender loving care. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6155 Rockside Road, Cleveland, OH 44131-2200, or The Louis Stokes Veterans Administration Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106.
