Priscilla Johnson

PRISCILLA J. IDE nee Johnson Age 93, passed away February 10th, 2012 in her Judson Park residence. Mrs. Ide attended Hathaway Brown School and Smith College, graduating from Smith in 1940. She married Mr. Ide in 1942. They remained happily married until Mr. Ide's death in 1999. Mrs. Ide was a life-long parishioner of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Cleveland Hts., a member of the Cleveland Garden Club, and a long time supporter of many cultural institutions including the Cleveland Art Museum and Symphony. Priscilla was the beloved wife of the late Herbert Savage Ide, Jr. and the dear mother of Herbert Savage Ide, III Leslie of Ridgeville, CT, Priscilla Ide Metzger Keith of No. Manchester, IN and Mary Ide Steele George of Brooklyn, NY. She was the dear grandmother of eight and great grandmother of eight. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2747 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Hts., OH 44106 where Memorial Services will be held in St. Martin's Chapel Saturday, February 18th at 4 PM. Interment Lake View Cemetery.
