Robert Maver

Robert Joseph Maver, age 87 years. Beloved husband of Virginia (Marks); Cherished and treasured father of Judith Anne, Mary Virginia Robertson, and Maureen Joan Rock (Edward); devoted grandfather of Joseph Robertson, Kathryn Mervine (Scott) and Heather Janor; great-grandfather of Dylan Rhoad and Daniel Janor; dear brother of Joseph (deceased) and Donald (deceased) (Jane) and brother-in-law of Dr. Charles Marks (Marge), Joan Marks (deceased), Mary
Catherine (Kay) Sweeny (deceased) (Edward) (deceased), and Margaret Duhigg (Charles); cherished uncle and great-uncle of the Maver, Marks, Sweeny and Duhigg families. Robert was a proud Cleveland Heights firefighter where he served as captain from 1950-2000. He was a faithful World War II US Navy veteran. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland, 2507 E. 22nd Street, Cleveland, OH 44115. A Memorial Mass will be held at Church of the Gesu, 2470 Miramar Blvd, University Heights, OH 44118 on Friday, May 3 at 11 AM WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL IN THE NARTHEX, ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE MASS AT 10 AM.
