Robert Sweeney

Robert P. Sweeney passed away June 27, 2013. He was 80 years old. He was a kind and gentle man always with a smile and complement for others. He loved his family, his Catholic faith and praying the rosary. He was a native of Weston, WV and a Korean War Veteran. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Carol (nee Varel), sons Gregory (Karen) of Pine Island, FL, Robert (Amy) of Green Bay, WI, Kathleen Eberlein (Robert) of Chagrin Falls, OH and Barbara Rabin (Michael) of Gates Mills, OH. Loving grandfather to Maxwell, Jacob, Riley, Nathaniel, Marin, Rachael and Ireland. Brother to James (Anne), Joseph (Millie), Edwin and Sarah Ellen Sweeney and the late Warren. Memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Ste E, Uniontown, OH 44685 or to Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Rd., Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 1st at 11 AM. FRIENDS MAY CALL ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT THE CHURCH.
