Roy Gentles

Roy A. Gentles beloved husband of Margaret L. Gentles, M.D. (nee Alexander). Roy was the former President and CEO of Alcan Corp. He was a true philanthropist. Beloved father of Gail (Tom) Smiley, Gary (Anne), Brian (Heather) and Terry (Hamilton) Biggar. Dear grandfather of Alexander (Laura), Scott (Mark), Andrew, Brett (Lisa), Kim, Fisk (Becca), Mark, Lola Jean, Roy and Brooke Biggar Littman. Dear great grandfather of James and Kate Gentles; Anna Marie Smiley; Brynn, Macy and Tucker Littman. Roy is also survived by his devoted caregiver and companion Nadine Tolbert.

The family prefers that those who wish make contributions in his name to Judson Park Retirement Community Foundation, 2181 Ambleside Dr., Cleveland, OH 44106 or to The Golden Age Centers of Greater Cleveland, 12200 Fairhill Rd., Cleveland, OH 44120. Memorial Services will be held at University Circle United Methodist Church, 1919 East 107th St., Cleveland, OH 44106 on Monday, February 10th at 4:00 PM.
