Sara Jamieson

Sara Kay Jamieson, 74, of Mayfield Village, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013.
She was a devoted wife to Robert Reid Jamieson, loving mother to Robert, Bruce, and Julia, joyful grandmother to Hadley, Roger, Evelyn, and Juniper, and dear sister to Jonathan C. Smith.
She is known and loved in the community for her many years of piano teaching. Her positive encouragement and passion for learning motivated over two hundred students. She accompanied the Mayfield High School choirs on the piano for nearly two decades. From 1961 to 1973 Sara taught music and primary classes in the Lakewood City School District. She was loved by many for her genuine kindness and contagious smile.
Donations in her name can be made to the Mayfield Library Trust Fund of the Cuyahoga County Public Library or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11am in the Church of the Western Reserve: 30500 Fairmount Blvd., Pepper Pike, OH 44124, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
