Dear aunt of Rolando Nash, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at Cathedral Church of God and Christ, 2950 Martin Luther King Blvd., Cleveland on Saturday, July 3 at 11 AM. BROWN-FORWARD 216-752-1200 Shenita Nash was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 21, 1964, the eldest of two children to Robert L. and Juanita Nash. She was preceded in death by her Granddaughter Yahana Abdullah. She was educated in the Warrensville Heights school system. Following her graduation she studied Cosmetology. She worked at various jobs until her employment by the Village of Highland Hills, as an Events Coordinator. In that position she coordinated, the various parties and events given by the Village, such as the Annual Ester Egg Hunts, the Halloween parties, and especially the Mayor's Holiday events were she turned the Ballroom into a winter wonderland. After leaving her employment with the Village, she was employed by the Cleveland Municipal School District as a Security Officer, first at John Adams and her final assignment at Whitney Young where she found her joy. She loved the children and they loved her, she immersed her time in making sure that there needs were met, she helped in any way she could, providing, assistance to the parents, clothing for some of the needy children and always a smile. Despite her declining health her strong spirit and steadfast faith was an inspiration to others. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Darsheda, her parents, the Honorable Robert L. and Juanita Nash, brother, Rolando Nash, nephew Rolando Nash Jr. and a host of family and friends.
