He advocated with local and state agencies for many mental health services consumers as well as other people needing his assistance. He was also very active in Pennsylvania legislative matters and facilitated various social services support groups. Steven excelled at and enjoyed designing, building, and repairing almost anything, in addition to writing, mentoring, and coaching. He was dedicated to his friends and his pets. He hoped someday to build an airplane and a boat. He was an avid sailor, bicyclist, and at one time, a bicycle racer. Most of all, Steve was a devoted and loving husband and father.
