Theodore Ashton

Theodore ("Ted") Ashton passed away Tuesday, June 4.
He is survived by his wonderful wife Dona, to whom he had been married 63 years. Ted was very proud of his son, Theodore Ashton Jr. and his daughter Kimberly, and grandchildren Tara, Dana, Sam, and Ben.
Ted was born in Lancaster, Ohio to Thomas and Florence Ashton in 1925.He enjoyed many activities, but especially travelling with his wife to many parts of the United States, Europe, Canada, and New Zealand.
Ted was proud to have worked for The Lincoln Electric Company for 40 years, beginning right after graduation from Ohio State University in 1947, retiring as Vice President of Machine Development in 1987.
He was a bright, gracious, and generous man, and will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew him. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father and grandfather and will always be a positive influence in all our lives.
The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to The Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119 or an organization of choice.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT BROWN-FORWARD, 17022 CHAGRIN BLVD., SHAKER HTS., OH MONDAY, JUNE 10TH FROM 4-6 PM. Interment Lake View Cemetery.
