Thomas Joseph Storey, 89, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2010. US Navy Pilot Veteran of WWII, stationed in the South Pacific. He was the beloved husband of the late Laura Delle nee Worth, dear brother of Ellen Beverstock, loving father of Patrick Barbara, Sara Allain Russo and Bridget Murphy Bill and devoted grandfather of Betsy, Chris, Peter, Thomas Wyatt and Lara. He attended Cleveland Heights High School and University School. He remained an active alumni raising money for the school for over 50 years. After the war, he received his BA degree from Case Western Reserve and jointly owned Warwick Products with his brother-in-law and dear friend Bob Beverstock. An avid golfer, he conquered courses in Scotland and Spain. He also excelled at paddle tennis and curling at Mayfield Country Club where he was active on the Board of Directors for many years. In the winter months he loved fishing and the laid back life in the Florida Keys. For many years he was a dedicated volunteer at Rotary International as a mentor for troubled young men. He was a faithful friend to many and loved by all. There will be a private Service and Interment at All Souls Cemetary. The family invites friends to join them in a celebration his life at Mayfield Sand Ridge Club, 1545 Sheridan Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, July 2nd from 5:00 - 6:30 pm.
