Towar N. Vilas, age 77 of Aurora, OH. Treasured husband of Chris White (nee Richens); former spouse of Christine B. Vilas (nee Babcox) of Chagrin Falls, OH.; loving father of Lindsay V. Tucholka (Scott) of Chagrin Falls, OH.; and Laura V. Doll (Kevin) of Westerville, OH.; dear stepfather of Jennifer Lynn Diaz of Indianapolis, IN.; and Stephanie L. Balser (Jeff) of North Olmsted, OH.; wonderful grandfather of Juliette V. and Reid S. Tucholka, Sophia L. and Madison A. Balser and Elena L. Diaz White; treasured step grandfather of Michael R. and Marissa L. Tucholka; dear brother of Malcolm B. “Sandy” Vilas, III (Sue Hodge) of Vero Beach, FL.; and Lisa V. Weismiller of Stamford, CT.; and much-loved uncle to Graham V. Anderson of Southlake, TX.; Frederick “Rick” J. Weismiller IV, of Denver, CO., Bradley N. Weismiller, of Bronxville, NY; Kristin A. Sallade, of Cleveland Heights, OH.; Jennifer Grenwis, of Cleveland Heights, OH.; Josaphine B. Yuzuik of Owings, MD; and Edward S. Babcox, IV of Mayfield Heights., OH.

Towar was predeceased by parents Malcolm “Frat” B. Vilas II and Lisa Ferriday Neave Vilas, and nephew, Malcolm “Mac” B. Vilas IV. Towar was a Hawken School graduate who matriculated to enjoy his wonderful undergrad years at Babson College, and years at Case Western Reserve University where he obtained his Masters. Towar worked as a Personal Trust Officer at KeyBank for 30 years, retiring to enjoy time with his family and to pursue his love for warmer weather, the beach, and books.  The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to:  Hudson Players, P.O.
