Tyler Marcus Castro

Tyler Marcus Castro, age 29, passed away January 19, 2024, in his childhood home in Solon, Ohio. He was the beloved son of Marcus and Cynthia, and brother of Jordan (Nicolette) and Brett. Tyler was born September 4, 1994.

From an early age, Ty was exceptionally talented at everything he tried. At age six, he began drumming, and went on to drum in various punk and metal bands, performing at local venues such as the Agora, Tower City Amphitheater, the Grog Shop, and more. Tyler was also a gifted skateboarder and artist. He loved being outside, and climbed every tree he could. 

Despite his personal struggles with addiction, Ty was known by many to be joyful, loving, and often goofy. He was full of energy and loved making people laugh. 

The family wants to express gratitude to all those who have helped Ty over the years. Your love and acts of service, however small—though often large—have been a source of hope and great encouragement.
